Jennifer HammondJennifer Hammond currently serves Assistant Varsity Coach/Catching Coach for the Thomas Jefferson H.S. Colonials after five seasons as JV and Varsity coach with Falls Church High School. She will be joining the staff of the Alexandria Aces Collegiate Cal Ripken League. Jennifer has also assisted Coach Dudley with managing several men’s recreational teams. Coach Hammond will be Head Coach of the 13u Senators-Force girls team in fall 2021.

John HarrisJohn Harris is one of Senators Baseball’s newest coaches, starting his 2nd season. An Army veteran, Coach Harris brings both discipline and tremendous positive energy to his coaching. An outfielder who still plays competitive baseball, John is an invaluable asset in getting Senators outfielders ready to compete in High School. John will be coaching with the 13 Central team in fall 2021.

STEVEN headWe are pleased to welcome Coach Head back to the Senators family as our Director of Strength & Fitness. Steven recently served as a trainer and 12u Head Baseball Coach at The St. James. He has worked as a personal trainer and strength coach in Northern Virginia for 30 years. He has served as a strength coach for GWU Men’s Tennis, and in 2020 completed a baseball strength & fitness internship at Cressy Sports Performance in Florida, working with current Major League players such as Kyle McGowan (Nationals) Gabe Klobosits (Nationals), Mike Brosseau (Rays) and Triston McKenzie (Indians/Guardians). Coach Head is also a certified hitting instructor from On Base Academy and a Lee-Taft certified speed & agility coach. In addition to developing our program-wide strength & fitness regime, Steven will also be serving as a coach on the 14 National team in fall 2021.

mike MurrayCoach Murray founded the Virginia Baseball Club (VBC) in 1992 and has been a leading force training Northern Virginia’s youth players ever since and has been coaching varsity level baseball since 1988. Mike was the varsity hitting and infield coach at Yorktown High School from 2003-2014. Mike spent four years as the associate head varsity baseball coach at O'Connell High School, after spending the previous seven years as the head varsity baseball coach at Wakefield High School. Teams Mike has managed include the Arlington American Legion Post 139, Alexandria American Legion Post 129. He is the author of two baseball books, Complete Baseball Coach's Handbook and Youth Baseball Coach's Playbook. Mike has presented at dozens of coaching workshops nationally and internationally as a certified trainer for the Positive Coaching Alliance and for Major League Baseball International - Latin America. He will be coaching with the Senators Varsity team (volunteer, assistant) in Fall 2021.

DAN POTOTSKYDan Pototsky is the former varsity coach at Washington-Lee and Thomas Jefferson High School, a retired Arlington Public School educator and regarded as one of the best baseball instructors in the Northern Virginia area. He was all-SEC at the University of Kentucky, a championship varsity head coach at WL and the longest tenure Senators coach. He also recently took an Arlington Senior Babe Ruth All-Star team all the way to the SBR World Series. Coach Pototsky is currently an assistant varsity coach for Justice High School in Falls Church. Dan will be Head Coach of the JV American team in fall 2021.

Bob romanoBob played catcher on the Eastern Massachusetts State championship teams at Somerville High School from 1962-63. From 1964 to 1975 was catcher for Arlex Oilers (semipro league in the Greater Boston area). He was a Little League and Babe Ruth coach and manager for nine years in Wakefield, MA and was the manager of the 13-Year-Old Babe Ruth All Star team which won the district championship, the MA state championship, the NE regional championship and played in the Babe Ruth World Series in Lebanon, MO in 1986. For 23 years, was head coach for American Legion Post 63, Wakefield, MA. Bob moved to DC in 2010 and currently is the head coach for American Legion Post 139 in Arlington. Bob will be Head Coach of the JV National team in fall 2021.

Jamie seguiJamie Segui was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and started his lifelong obsession with baseball at age 4. In 2013, Jamie moved to Arlington and attended Wakefield High School, where he was a four-year Varsity player primarily as a pitcher and corner infielder. He played two years with the ASBR All-Star team, winning the state championship in 2014 and runner-up in 2015. After ASBR, he played for three seasons with American Legion Post 139. Jamie is now the Varsity Assistant Coach at Wakefield High School, and a Senior at George Mason University majoring in communications with a minor in Spanish. He will be coaching with the JV National team in fall 2021.

Jeremy SieppJeremy Seipp is an Assistant Coach on the Washington-Liberty JV team and has been a Coach in the Senators system as well as the Arlington Senior Babe Ruth Summer All-Star teams for seven seasons. A High School and College catcher, Coach Seipp brings intensity, experience and energy to the Senators program. Jeremy will be the Head Coach of the 13 National team for the fall 2021 season.
